Accurate as-built data is the foundation of every retrofit. Our survey engineers board the vessel with 3D laser scanners and inspection instruments to capture the existing piping arrangement down to millimetre level — usually within a single day on board.

From point cloud to production drawings. Our engineers reverse-model the scanned areas, design the new piping runs, and issue isometric and arrangement drawings for class review and workshop fabrication. Typical engineering lead time is 7–14 days after the on-board survey.

Pipe spools are prefabricated in our partner workshops to the approved drawings — cutting, bevelling, fit-up, welding, dimension check, NDT and pressure testing — so that everything fits first time when it reaches the vessel.

Corrosion protection matched to the system and the trade route. We arrange hot-dip galvanizing, acid cleaning, painting and lining through qualified partner facilities, with coating reports for every batch.

Spools are protected, packed, marked per spool list and delivered to the shipyard or anchorage — by road, sea or air — in step with the vessel's docking or port-call schedule.

Our riding teams install the prefabricated spools on board — at the shipyard, at anchorage or during the voyage. A typical BWTS piping installation is completed within 10–12 days, closing out with commissioning support and final acceptance.
